FEATURE FILM
Over thirty years ago I wrote, co-produced, and directed my debut feature film. It is about mental illness and acceptance. It was going to be the first of a trilogy that I was planning on making about the subject. This film use to play on T.V. several times a year and so I guess it might just pass the test of time. It was with that in mind that I choose the time period and directing style of the film. When it was released in 1994 it was nominated for 4 Genie Awards (Canadian Oscars) and I was given honorable mention as one of the best first feature films directors in Canada of that year. It also went on to win over 15 international awards at children and youth film festivals around the world. It seems to fit with the other films on this website so if you have 90 minutes to sit back and relax and meet some new friends please enjoy the film below.
