Understanding Mental Health & Stigma
An Integenerational Project:
Linking Volunteers Across the Ages
This video was commissioned by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Kingston to give thank you to various donors for a group that they helped fund. It could also be used at their AGM.
In it we get to know an intergenerational group that during a 6 month period (2013-2014) met each Wednesday of the month to share their mental health experiences.

Stigma Reduction Training
This was commissioned by Addictions Center (Hastings/Prince Edward Counties) Inc. for a mandatory training module for anybody who works in addiction and mental health and who is funded by the South East Local Health Integration Network (S.E.L.H.I.N.).
Instead of having consumers go to different training sessions they used video to give consumers a voice and presence.
In it four consumers discuss both positive and negative experiences that have made them feel stigmatized when they have been seeking treatment.
